Math Middle School Level 1

Middle School Level 1 focuses on taking concepts learned in all elementary levels to the next level. Students are exposed to much more complex concepts of algebra such as exponents, inequalities, and the equation of a line. They also learn geometric calculations involving the properties of triangle as well as finding the distance or midpoint between two points on a coordinate plane. Students build upon their previous knowledge of statistics and learn about the ways to measure the center of a data set using mean, medians, and modes as well as applying basic counting principles. In addition to these essential math concepts, students learn key math strategies to ace competitions as well as begin preparing for the SAT and ACT math sections.
